Our spacious, light-filled open-plan kitchen and diner is perfectly equipped for feeding a hungry family after a busy day building sandcastles. You will find a large fridge freezer ready to be stocked with lovely local Devon produce, a microwave, two electric ovens, and a gas hob for rustling up anything from a quick cooked breakfast to a hearty family supper.
We have even provided a Dulce Gusto coffee machine, because we know parents often need a proper morning boost to keep up with the kids. Best of all, when the meal is finished, you can simply load up the dishwasher. There is absolutely no need to spend your precious holiday time standing at the sink.
Beating the British Weather
We all know that a summer holiday in the UK means preparing for glorious sunshine one afternoon and perhaps a sudden shower the next. Usually, that requires packing twice as many clothes just to be safe. At Sea-Renity, you can afford to pack far fewer bags.
We have a highly practical washer and dryer tucked away in our utility room, which is an absolute lifesaver for families. If the little ones get muddy walking the coastal paths or end up completely soaked from splashing about in the rock pools, you can run a quick wash and have their favourite outfits ready for the next day. On bright, breezy days, you can hang your beach gear out to dry on the rotary washing line in our secure, private rear garden, which is a lovely little sun trap.
Keeping Everyone Entertained
Downtime is just as important as getting out and exploring the Jurassic Coast. When the evening rolls around, or if you simply fancy a quiet, lazy morning indoors, keeping the whole family happy is an absolute doddle. We have four televisions across the property, including a large 43-inch Smart TV in our cosy lounge and wall-mounted screens in both of the double bedrooms.
This means parents can enjoy a peaceful film downstairs while the older children watch their own programmes upstairs, with zero squabbling over the remote control. We also provide free Wi-Fi throughout the house, alongside a great selection of DVDs, board games, and playing cards for some traditional family fun around the dining table.
The convenience does not stop at the front door. Because we are situated in a quiet residential road right in the heart of town, you will not need to pack the car for your daily excursions. We are just a six-minute, completely level stroll away from the seafront, and even closer to the high street shops via a handy passage from our back gate. With guaranteed off-street parking for two cars on our private driveway, you can simply leave the vehicles safely behind and explore beautiful Sidmouth on foot.
